TRICERA energy at ees Europe 2025: One of the largest German battery EPCs

TRICERA energy is one of Germany’s largest general contractors (EPC) and system integrators for large-scale battery storage systems. From May 7 to 9, the battery storage expert will once again be presenting its latest innovations at Europe’s largest trade fair for batteries and energy storage systems.

A wide range of cooperation models are conceivable, from billing as a pure service to joint project development and even leasing of space.

EPC and system integration: turnkey solutions

As an EPC service provider, TRICERA offers integrated, turnkey battery storage solutions that are designed to reduce technical and organizational complexity for customers. The storage specialist handles all project phases from a single source – from planning and procurement to implementation in accordance with legal requirements, installation, grid connection and commissioning, including control and energy management systems. Thanks to its expertise and experience, the company ensures structured processes, high quality and on-time implementation – so that the customer can concentrate on their core business.

BESS software: Highly flexible for any system design

Thanks to our flexible software development approach, the company is able to adapt the system software to any battery storage system. Three main components form the core: The Battery Cluster Controller (BCC) provides a generic control and data provision interface for the entire BESS and can integrate a wide variety of battery inverter types and BMS. The Energy Management System (EMS) determines the actual operation of the storage system and can be used for the integration and prioritization of various external marketers and/or load management systems or as a stand-alone controller for classic behind-the-meter applications such as load peak capping and self-consumption optimization. TRICERA ensures compliance with grid operator requirements through a highly customizable certified EZA controller, which can be used in combination with other generators such as PV or wind power.

Maintenance and technical operation: After construction is before maintenance

TRICERA provides support from operational management and monitoring through to extensive on-site deployment. The focus here is on system monitoring and data evaluation: the O&M team takes care of monitoring, ensures smooth operation and creates reports for internal and external purposes. Remote access and on-site operations ensure rapid troubleshooting and scheduled maintenance. The company therefore also covers the final part of the battery storage installation process.
