TRICERA becomes practice partner for dual study program in the field of information technology

Supporting young people and providing them with practical knowledge during their training in order to integrate them into the TRICERA family afterwards: This is the guiding principle behind TRICERA energy’s commitment to becoming a practice partner of the Berufsakademie Sachsen for the Information Engineering / Information Technology course.

“Battery storage technology is still part of a relatively young industry, which is why there are still no established training programs in this field. We at TRICERA have set ourselves the task of imparting secondary knowledge here on site in parallel with the course. Ideally, the company gains an employee who is already well integrated into the processes. In turn, they can start their first job straight after graduation,” says Franziska Strehlow, HR Officer at TRICERA.

The students become part of our software and embedded systems team during their practical phases. Accompanied by a specialist supervisor, they learn how the different battery types can be linked together and what challenges the professional programming of a battery storage system entails.

The teaching assignment given to us is closely coordinated with the Berufsakademie Sachsen and the underlying curriculum, including practical phases. The aim of the course is to “acquire extensive knowledge, skills and methods that enable students to independently identify and solve subject-specific challenges in professional practice”, as the academy states on the course website.

Anyone interested in studying and TRICERA at the same time can apply now. A place on the dual study program will be available from October 1, 2024. The application deadline is August 31, 2024.
