Logistics Manager – Transportation & Warehouse Logistics

We are looking for a new team member in the Materials Management department in Dresden to start as soon as possible, working at least 32 hours per week.
This is what your day-to-day work with us will look like
Transport Logistics
- Managing Material Flows: You plan, coordinate, and monitor all material shipments to our projects and construction sites.
- Schedule and Delivery Monitoring: You keep track of delivery schedules and ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Interface management: You will coordinate closely with purchasing, project management, suppliers, and freight forwarders.
- Ensuring material availability: You will ensure that materials are complete and delivered on time.
- International logistics: You will coordinate customs matters for international shipments.
- Process optimization and development
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Organizing and improving our warehouse structure to ensure efficient operations.
- Management of goods receipt, inventory control, and physical inventory counts.
- Analysis and optimization of inventory to improve availability and cost-effectiveness.
Operational Support & Construction Site Coordination
- Regular coordination with on-site project teams
- Occasional assistance with material deliveries to construction sites
- Project-related travel within the EU (approx. 15%)
What you bring to the table
- A bachelor’s degree in logistics, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field, or a completed vocational training program with relevant professional experience
- Passion for logistics processes: You have a knack for efficient workflows and want to actively help shape and improve processes
- A structured and independent work style
- Strong organizational skills and assertiveness
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel
- Willingness to travel and openness to providing on-site operational support when needed
- Very good German and English skills (min. B2)
- Class B driver’s license
- A plus: Initial experience with ERP systems, e.g., in logistics or materials management.
