Electrical Engineer – Realization

At our Dresden location, we are looking for a new team member in the field of Electrical Engineering Implementation to start as soon as possible, either full-time or part-time.

Here’s what your day-to-day work will look like

  • Comprehensive electrical planning for battery storage projects: You will be responsible for standards-compliant planning from the concept phase through to commissioning
  • Selection of electrical components: You will analyze the market and select major components such as transformers, inverters, and medium-voltage switchgear
  • Energy-related calculations and protection concepts: You will perform calculations for grounding, lightning protection, and cable sizing, among other things, and ensure the technical safety of the systems
  • Fault analysis and quality assurance: You assist with fault analysis and troubleshooting, coordinate external service providers, prepare specifications, and oversee construction inspections

What you bring to the table

  • Technical qualifications or practical experience: Whether you have a degree (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Renewable Energy Systems), a technical diploma, or vocational training—what matters to us is your interest, motivation, and skills, not your formal degree
  • Solid technical understanding as well as an interest in energy systems and related contexts
  • Ability to work independently while also enjoying collaboration within a team
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and technical regulations in the electrical engineering field
  • Proficiency with E-CAD systems (e.g., EPLAN) is a plus but not required
  • Very good German language skills (min. B2), English skills are a plus
  • Willingness to travel for projects (80% office, 20% on-site work)
