Service Technician

At our Dresden location, we are looking for a Service Technician (m/f/d) to join our Operations & Maintenance team supporting BESS, starting as soon as possible, either full-time or part-time.

Here’s what your day-to-day work will look like

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair work on battery energy storage systems in accordance with applicable electrical standards and internal procedures
• Monitor and evaluate system parameters and operational processes, carry out electrical troubleshooting, and resolve technical faults
• Execute corrective maintenance and repair activities
• Provide customer-focused on-site support, including the documentation of technical activities, recording of measurement results, and preparation of professional service reports
• Contribute to the technical development and continuous improvement of our systems, such as remote monitoring tools and data analysis, installation quality, and serviceability

What you bring to the table

• Completed vocational training in electrical installation, electronics, energy technology, industrial electrical engineering, electrical engineering, building services engineering, or a comparable field
• Previous experience in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems is preferred but not required
• Experience with medium-voltage switchgear is an advantage
• Valid Class B driving license and willingness to travel (approximately 65% field work / 35% office-based activities)
• Experience with bidirectional inverters, HVAC systems, or 1500 V DC systems is beneficial
• A strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring the safety of yourself and others at all times
• Strong communication skills, teamwork mindset, and a structured, self-reliant way of working
• Very good German language skills (minimum B2 level)
