{"id":5140,"date":"2026-03-18T14:07:25","date_gmt":"2026-03-18T13:07:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tricera.energy\/?p=5140"},"modified":"2026-05-04T14:16:53","modified_gmt":"2026-05-04T12:16:53","slug":"job-offer-infrastructure-engineer-bess","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tricera.energy\/en\/job-offer-infrastructure-engineer-bess\/","title":{"rendered":"Infrastructure Engineer \u2013 BESS"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><b><strong>Help us shape the energy supply of the future!<\/strong><\/b><\/h3>\n<p>We are looking for a new full-time team member to join our <strong>Infrastructure Engineer BESS<\/strong> team at our Dresden office as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<h3><b>This is what your day-to-day work with us will look like<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>You will manage and further develop our <strong>container platform<\/strong> (Kubernetes\/Rancher).<\/li>\n<li>You will build and maintain our <strong>deployment pipelines according to GitOps principles<\/strong> (ArgoCD) and ensure reproducible, secure releases.<\/li>\n<li>You will handle persistent <strong>storage solutions<\/strong> (Longhorn) and ensure the stability of our systems in production.<\/li>\n<li>You will implement and maintain <strong>monitoring and logging for system metrics<\/strong> and centralized log collection (Prometheus, Grafana).<\/li>\n<li>You will work on hardening and securing our <strong>infrastructure<\/strong>\u2014an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the requirements of regulated environments.<\/li>\n<li>You will support the development team with <strong>infrastructure questions and troubleshooting<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>What you bring to the table<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>You have <strong>experience in several of the following areas<\/strong>\u2014and are eager to learn the others:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operating Linux systems and containerized environments<\/li>\n<li>Container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Rancher, OpenShift)<\/li>\n<li>Network engineering (routing, switching, firewalls)<\/li>\n<li>CI\/CD and GitOps (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux, GitHub Actions)<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and logging (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We also expect:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An understanding of IT security and an interest in regulated environments<\/li>\n<li>The ability to work independently and in a structured manner<\/li>\n<li>Very good German or English language skills (minimum B2 level)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with compliance requirements (NIS2, KRITIS, ISO 27001, or similar)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of storage solutions for Kubernetes (Longhorn, Ceph, Rook)<\/li>\n<li>Scripting experience (Bash, Python, Go)<\/li>\n<li>Background in OT environments or industrial infrastructure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>We offer you<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Expense allowance of \u20ac603\/month <\/b>for your work<\/li>\n<li><b>Flexitime<\/b> with flexible working hours<\/li>\n<li><b>Option to work remotely<\/b> up to 2-3 days a week<\/li>\n<li><b>Supervision of your thesis &amp;
